Next in the workshop, my goal was to add a stamp to the top of my bottle, this was done by taking the logo I made for ''diamond foods'' for my (DESIGN FOR SCRIPT) module. I exported this into a .dxf, from my Adobe Illustrator file, I had to redo my stamp that was laser cut as when we made it originally the square around it was too small so when I stamped it the square left an imprint on the wax as you can see down below.
Because of this, I redid my stamps, the stamp in the middle of picture 7 was used as the final stamp for imprinting the bottle at the top, to stamp the bottle top I used a material called lino as Craig recommneded it to me to use instead of the normal 3mm MDF board or some acrylic, this was because it is slightly more flexible and so ould be easier to use on a bottle with uneven surfaces as it would flex to fit around it more as I apply pressure to stamp it.
However even with using my best stamp cutting I still had many failed attempts of the bottle as I had to melt to top of the bottle's wax, then wait for it to cool for about 2 seconds then I could add my stamp and apply light pressure. Using my other bottles attempts as test dummies for stamping as again trial and error until I managed to get an attempt I was happy with.
