For this week's session, we are covering the ideas of creating a Creative CV for use within the industry and what to do and what not to do in regard to creating one. To start with we looked at common mistakes that people would make on a cv such as, poor formatting, no tailoring, spelling mistakes, lies, lack of evidence, telling not showing, ignoring gaps. Understanding the fact that a CV is a marketing tool and it needs to be used that way.

broader social media
recruiters and interested in your pros and cons from your social media presence
such as you can have a 47% NEGATIVE impression for vagrant alcohol consumption but it could not be as bad compared to if another application had spelling mistakes and grammar issues which 54% view as negative
using the information I have gained in this session about the content and the visual information I have now created a CV that I feel displays my work and skills appropriately. I chose to include bright colours with simple page flow and segmentation of information. While we were advised to not include a photo I had recently created a set and I am using the photographs from that as people can see myself and a quick snapshot of work I have produced and since we work in a visual industry I think this appropriate. While I have tried to keep a consistent colour scheme with my portfolio alongside the creative CV creating visual continuity.
Bellow, I will be linking the LinkedIn profile I have created and a copy of my CV that I would be using based on this session information provided and what I have taken away from it. I believe I have learned the basic components of what makes a successful Online Profile and CV
