In this class, we were progressing on top of the skills tim demonstrated last week. We were tasked with taking the sheets of printed out plans etc and turning them into a white card model. We were to glue together a white card model from these sheets he had given us as we had not had much practice in the white card model making this was a really good activity to get my teeth stuck into, using a scalpel and cutting mat we loosely cut out the sheets of paper and spray mounted this on top of thick white card. Next once the spray mount had gone tacky we added on the sheets on top of the card and then re-cut these out so that each of the indevidual pieces stuck together. This was done using PVA wood glue and using my finer to spread the bead along the edges and seems.

I think this was a really useful session that was done as white card modelling was something I had wanted to both learn more about including the technical skills involved with making a card model. While also giving me the session to practice my skills in an environment where I could take my time and ask questions as we went through the session. Overall I'm really pleased with my model as it was really close to the one Tim demonstrated.
