We started by placing the man next to the fire and then we added a glow to the fire using the eye drop tool and the paint brush tool, next we used the same tools to create the moon in the top corner of the Photoshop piece, next we then used a small brush and the white dots tool to create some star effects in the sky of the design. Using low opacity has been a key part of the piece as it allows the use of subtle glows and creates much more realistic and visually appealing affects. Craig then showed us how to use and how to save things as a PNG file his approach is to copy it and then save it onto a new layer then delete the first layer’s background and then save it. Finally, we saved the file as both the original PSD file and as a PDF document and finally a JPG.
