For my first Linkedin learning session, I wanted to look into things about set design and found a great video series about set design and the whole pre-production aspects on film projects.

Using Linkedin learning for this kind of research is really helpful as instructors go into really great detail, such as how they talk about everything matters, building up the characters to levels that would not even be shown in the final product is a really good idea as you can know exactly what you would need to have and really bring forward the feelings that a set can invoke in people due to characters being so planned out you know what they live like and what that would look like in their own space and let the props display the characters traits.

One thing that I think i have gained from this kind of class is the concept of understanding the scripts, characters, and the world that is trying to be built and how each of these can make or break a film. As people only tend to think about the props that the actors directly interact within the script and not all the other things that help to immerse the audiece in the work.
