Establishing Professional Practice – WEEK 1

In our first session in the project we were told to explore the university campus and to tell the story of peel park past and present. To do this my first thought in the session when we left was to go out and head straight to the bridge just bordering the edge of the peel park campus I chose to do this as over the years it has slowly been covered in more and more graffiti along side with many other parts of the campus property I felt due to the scale and the interesting things people have vandalised it with it would be a good place to start. I think that the use of graffiti and other vandalism like that shows how peel park has changed over the years due to a large flow of people it has continually gone through change after change due to these different people leaving a mark or some impact on the campus.
